Rumors swirl of a village deep in the woods, an idyllic paradise built around a spring that grants eternal life. Yet the forests are treacherous, many adventurers have lost their lives hunting for this oasis, but they have all died with one word on their lips… Verdisa.

For those that find it, Verdisa is a humble oasis among the trees. All its denizens are young, happy, and welcoming. They worship the spirits of the forest, and live in beautiful harmony with nature. But those who find Verdisa never leave. Some say the waters of the spring have a narcotic effect, others say they stay for the peaceful life there. But beneath the surface this picturesque village is a twisted lie. The rumors of the spring are spread by the villagers themselves, meant to ensnare outsiders. Visitors are slaughtered like cattle, and sacrificed to the dark spirits of the forest.
